Based on the data from Google Analytics on our NWTC website, 70.4% of people log in using a desktop, 28.6% of people log in using a mobile phone, and 1.0% use a tablet of some sort. Due to almost 30% of users using a mobile device to log in, a mobile application should be created to promote easy user access. At this time, people who use a mobile device have to use a browser, search for the NWTC home page, and log in on that browser. It would make the entire process a lot easier if there was a “guest user” app for the NWTC homepage and a “student user” app for the homepage. On the other hand, an app that combines these two would also be possible. I think this recommendation would make logging into NWTC a lot more efficient for a lot of people, especially students.
